Contest - Win a T-shirt from Fibers.com!
This week (October 24 - 31) is the 5th annual "World Go Vegan Week"! Although all my meals planned this week aren't vegan, I have been slowly increasing the vegan dishes in our diet.So, in celebration of Vegan Week, fibers.com has generously offered to sponsor a contest. The winner will receive a $35 voucher to purchase a t-shirt.
Fibers.com is a great website where you can create your own custom shirt (how cool is that!) or purchase a shirt from the many designs available. Plus you can put that design on everything from a t-shirt to a hoodie to even a bib for your baby! They have lots of color choices, too.
Just as an example, here's a product I would love:

I love the "Have you hugged a vegetarian today?" design because I am a vegetarian (obviously) and I love hugs!

The best one is easily Brontosaurus, The Original Vegan. Mainly because dinosaurs are awesome (Have you seen Jurassic Park? Brilliant film.), but also because it isn't too aggressive. It's cute and kinda funny.

I like a few, but I like the one that says Vegetarian with a fork underneath. Simple, yet you understand vegetarians do eat real food.

My favorite of the shirts is the "Eat Your Veggies" one. Anyone can wear it--vegan, omnivore, or anywhere in between--and it's not so in-your-face and aggressive as some of the other shirts. Vegetarians--and especially vegans--already have a reputation for sometimes being militant and unfriendly and I'd rather not perpetuate that stereotype.

I personally like the "Eat Your Veggies" T-Shirt, because it's catchy, cute, straight-forward and is attractive to children also, which may encourage them to "Eat Their Veggies"!
